8 x 26ft Workshop Superior Shed

This 8 x 26ft Workshop is one of our Superior Sheds. It has been custom-made for a customer in need of a multi-purpose building to use as both a workshop and office. As all of our buildings are designed individually by our CAD engineers, we were able to create a workshop for our customer that is tailor-made to their requirements. Like all of our garden buildings, it was hand-made to order from FSC® certified Scandinavian Redwood by skilled craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our expert installations team.

Our Superior Sheds are available in wide range of standard sizes, but we are also able to create more customisable sizes too, like we have with this customer’s 8 x 26ft workshop. Our customer’s workshop has an apex roof design with a double window set in the gable, with the side having a triple and double window set fitted that includes one opening in each. To enable our customer to use their building for dual purposes, they have opted to have a partition installed. Each section of the building is accessed via its own single framed, ledged, and braced single door. To comply with permitted development guidelines, it has an internal height of 2.0m. To give protection to the items stored inside, a security pack has been added as extra which compromises of a heavy-duty 7 lever lock that is anti-sawing, anti-picking, anti-cropping and anti-prising, non-returnable security screws on the door hinges, and stainless steel bars mortised into the window frame.

The entirety of this Superior Shed is clad using shiplap cladding, which is designed to give a smooth finish. This has then been treated with a protective Sikkens wood stain, which allows the grain to be seen through while also giving a high colour pay off. The roof is fitted with our heat-bonded heavy duty felt and the windows are Georgian in style.
