8 x 15ft Garden Shed

This 8 x 15ft Shed is one of our Superior Sheds, installed in this gorgeous setting by our customers pond. Our customers live on agricultural land so they wanted a shed that could be used to store essentials for their animals, including sawdust for chickens and pellets for sheep. They opted for our Superior Shed as they needed a building that was a specific size to fit in with the space available on their land. Once the style of building had been selected, it was then designed to order by our CAD engineers before being hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber by skilled craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory. It was then delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by members of our expert installations team, which is included in the overall price of the building as part of our end-to-end service.

This shed is made to a tailored size, measuring 8 x 15ft, which is the equivalent of 2.4 x 4.7m. As our buildings are all tailor-made to order, we are able to create our Superior Sheds in over 25 different standard sizes, as well as more customisable sizes on request. It has a pent roof design with a single door in the side, which is framed, ledged and braces for strength and rigidity. Our standard roofing material of heavy duty felt has been laid on the roof. It is an extreme wear and non-rip, 35kg green mineralised felt that is applied with a propane torch to increase its longevity.

To give a smooth exterior look, this Superior Shed has been shiplap clad. Our shiplap cladding is machined from Scandinavian Redwood that is grown close to the Arctic Circle in Northern Sweden. Our Superior Sheds treated with a light oak wood preservative as standard, but you can also choose from three paint ranges to decorate your building with: these are our Exterior Paint System, Sikkens and Farrow & Ball. Our customer has selected Farrow & Ball’s weather resistant and anti-fungal paint system for their building, with the shade of French Gray being the colour of choice.
