The Blakeney Summerhouse is available in a wide range of sizes, from 2.4 x 1.8m to 4.8 x 6.0m, with plenty of sizes in between. Our customer opted for our smallest size Blakeney as the 2.4 x 1.8m building made the best use of the space they had available in their garden. Our Blakeney Summerhouse has a chalet-style design with an apex roof that features a charming overhang. It has a set of double doors and two fixed windows in the gable and our customer has opted to have a single opening window installed in the left-hand side of the summerhouse to allow air to flow freely through their art room. Our customer chose to upgrade their roof covering and they also upgraded from a light oak preservative to a painted finish. The roof is covered in cedar shingles and the shiplap clad exterior is painted in Slate from our Exterior Paint System.
The Blakeney is an unlined summerhouse as standard, making it ideal for use during the warmer months of the year. However, as our customer wanted to be able to use their art room all throughout the year, they opted to have it fully lined, insulated and double glazed for comfort in every season. The walls and ceiling of our customer’s Blakeney are lined with natural matchboard giving a warm and cosy feel, but we also offer the option to have them all painted for an alternative look.
Whether you are after a hobby room, a home office, or simply a beautiful summerhouse to enjoy your garden from, our Blakeney could be ideal.
