Burnham Studio with Velux® Window

To utilise the space in the studio to its full potential, the customer has opted to have two partitions put in, which gives her a large 3.6 x 4.8m space to use as the salon, and then two small storage rooms to the rear of the building, both measuring 1.2 x 2.4m in size.

Access to these extra rooms is through an internal door at the back of the salon, and another door leads on from there too. These extra rooms will be used to house all of the hairdressing equipment to keep the main salon free of clutter.

As well as the partitions, there is also full insulation throughout the building, painted matchboard lining on the walls, an electric pack with four extra double sockets, double glazed windows, and a Velux® window in the roof to allow more light inside, so there is no denying the practicality of this building for year-round use.

Style-wise, the customer has chosen grey slate effect tiles on the roof, and the paint is from our exterior paint system, in the colour, Cream to give it a bright finish.
