Cedar shingle tiles have been used to cover the roof, which are an attractive, natural material with a life expectancy of 25-35 years: they start off as a bright terracotta colour, and develop into a grey/silver colour as they season (this will happen over the course of around 6 months).
To go with the cedar shingle tiles, the customer has opted for leaded windows to add a more traditional style to the summerhouse, and the paint the customer has chosen is from our exterior paint system: the colour Lizard, which is a natural green colour to blend in with their garden.
Other features include double glazed windows, shiplap cladding, and inside, there is natural matchboard lining on the walls, insulation in the walls and ceiling, and an electrical pack, so the customer will be able to take advantage of their summerhouse throughout the year, not just in the summer.
If you would like one of our Summerhouses in your garden, whether you want to use it purely through the summer, or through the year, you can create a building yourself by using our Online Garden Building Planner Tool: choose from different sizes, colours, styles and an array of features to end up with a building perfectly suited to your needs.
