The Orford Summerhouse is unique within our National Trust summerhouse range, due to the fact that it is suited to fit into a corner. If you have got a rather awkwardly shaped garden or your garden isn’t big enough to fit a summerhouse in anywhere but a corner, a summerhouse like this could be the answer to your problem. We also have a corner fitting summerhouse in our own range of buildings, the Weybourne, if this doesn’t quite suit your style.
There are four summerhouses in the National Trust range, as well as four garden sheds, all of which have been designed with traditional features inspired by the outbuildings of National Trust properties across East Anglia.
The traditional features that have been incorporated into the National Trust garden buildings are the black corrugated roofing material, the fleur de Leys hinges and door furniture, and vertical sawn boards.
This Orford Summerhouse is 2.4 x 2.4m in size and the paint used to finish it off is called Terrace Green. This is one of our darker National Trust paint colours, but it fits very nicely into their garden environment.
As well as the double doors, there are two opening windows in the summerhouse, one on each side, so the customer will get plenty of ventilation on warmer days.
We hope the customer gets many days and years of enjoyment out of their new summerhouse, and if you like the look of this Orford as well, you can order one of your size and colour via our Online Garden Building Planner Tool where you will be able to configure and buy your own building, all online.
