As with all of our garden buildings, this Cley Summerhouse is built using FSC® certified timber, machined from Scandinavian Redwood that is grown close to the Arctic Circle. We source our timber from a partner mill in Sweden so that we are guaranteed to use the highest quality materials, managed in a sustainable way.
To give a light and airy feel inside, there are windows in 3 out of the 4 sides of our Cley Summerhouses, as well as in the double doors. All the windows are made using 4mm toughened safety glass, and this customer has chosen to have them Georgian in style to give their summerhouse a more traditional feel.
The exterior shiplap cladding is coated in a paint from our exterior colour range, which is a durable and long-lasting paint system. Our customer opted to have the exterior painted in the shade Sandstone, which is a light, neutral-toned colour that will complement the greenery and the stone paving in our customer's garden.
The interior features insulation, lined with natural matchboard and the floor has been treated with a Light Oak lacquer, which will finish it with a nice sheen as well as protect the timber.
