Garden Rooms in Shrewsbury, Shropshire

This Garden Room turned outdoor office has been installed for a customer in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Our customer wanted a building that had all the essential features for working from home, so they opted for our signature Garden Room. After the style of building was selected, our customer then got to choose from a wide range of features, including roof coverings, cladding options, window types, and paint systems, in order to customise the interior and exterior of their building to their tastes. All of our buildings are designed and hand-made to order by our skilled CAD engineers and craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by experts from our installations team. We include delivery and installation in the price of all our buildings as part of our end-to-end service to give you peace of mind that your building is being assembled to the high standards we pride ourselves on.

Our Hipped Roof Garden Room is our flagship design from our Garden Room range. It is available in a range of standard sizes from 3.0 x 3.0m to 5.4m x 6.0m, with more tailor-made sizes available on request too. Our customer has chosen our 4.2 x 6.0m size, with a double door and two double window sets to the front, a double window set on either side and a singular Velux® window in the roof. The roof has been covered in cedar shingles and the windows are led in style, giving the building a traditional look. Further adding to the rustic style of this building, is the weatherboard clad exterior. The exterior is painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Old White’ with the door and window frames highlighted in 'Pointing'.

To allow our customer to work from home throughout the year, our Garden Room comes fully lined, insulated, and double glazed as standard. Electrics and a heater are also supplied, providing the garden office with much-needed lighting, power, and warmth. The walls and ceiling are both lined with painted matchboard lining, in Farrow & Ball ‘Pointing’ to match the secondary exterior colour, and our engineered floorboards have been laid in the colour ‘Shade Oak’.
