Summerhouses in Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire

This pent summer house measures 2.4 x 2.4m, with heavy-duty felt covering the roof. It has a set of double doors and two fixed windows in the front, and an opening double window set fitted in each side. Our customer has opted for leaded windows, and they also chose to have them double glazed. The exterior is shiplap clad, which offers a lovely smooth finish. Our Thornham comes treated with a light oak preservative as standard, but our customer wanted a painted summerhouse, so they upgraded to a two-tone finish using our Exterior Paint System. The main colour of this outdoor summer house is Pebble, with the doors and windows beautifully highlighted in Ivory for a pleasing contrast.

Our Thornham Summerhouse is usually unlined as standard, but as our customer wanted a year-round use garden building, we were able to add full internal lining and insulation to their new pent summer house. They chose to have our standard floorboards and Ivory painted matchboard lining the walls. For your own outdoor summer house, you may opt for natural matchboard lining, or a Farrow & Ball painted option, you may also want to consider having one of our engineered flooring options, as well as electrics and a heater.
