We have installed this Thornham Summerhouse in Sudbury, Suffolk for a customer wanting a luxury summerhouse to relax in during the warmer months of the year. Like all our buildings, this Thornham Summerhouse was designed and hand-made to order in our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our installations team. We include delivery and installation in the price of all our buildings to give you peace of mind that your new building is being assembled by an expert, while also ensuring it is built to the high standards we pride ourselves on.

The Thornham is a modern-style summerhouse crafted from FSC® certified timber, with a pent roof and overhang. It is available in a wide variety of sizes, with this customer opting for our 2.4 x 3.6m size. This pent summer house has heavy-duty felt on the roof, which is an extreme wear, non-rip material that we apply with a propane torch to increase its longevity. The Thornham also has a ¾ glazed set of double doors, with two fixed windows fitted in the front gable and a set of double, opening windows installed on each side. The exterior of this luxury summerhouse is clad in smooth shiplap and treated in a Light Oak Preservative as standard. Our customer wanted their summerhouse to have a splash of colour, so they upgraded and had the exterior of their building painted in Sage from our Exterior Paint System.

The inside of our Thornham Summerhouse comes unlined, making it an ideal summertime retreat. If you would like to use this pent summer house throughout the year, we can fully line, insulate, and double glaze it. There is a choice of lining options and flooring types for you to choose from so you can make the interior feel as homely as possible. We can also install electrics and a heater for additional comfort.
