2.4 x 2.2m Burnham Studio painted in Exteiror Slate with cedar shingles on the roof

This small garden office is one of our Burnham Studios, installed for our customer based in Peckham, London. Our customer needed a garden office space from which they could comfortably work from home throughout the year. They opted for our Burnham Studio measuring 2.4 x 2.2m, which was the perfect fit for the space they had available in their garden. The manufacturing plans of this building were designed by our CAD engineers to our customer’s specification before the building was then hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber to order inside the factory at our Norfolk HQ. Our installations experts then delivered and installed it in our customer’s garden, which was included in the overall price of the outdoor office studio.

This Burnham Studio perfectly blends both modern and traditional design elements. It has a classic apex roof with a contemporary fully glazed front elevation. As well as floor-to-ceiling length windows to the front and left-hand side of the building, it also has a single opening fanlight window in the back wall to aid with internal ventilation. The roof of this small garden office has been covered in cedar shingles while the smooth shiplap clad exterior has been finished in the colour Slate from our Exterior Paint System.

To make this outdoor office studio suitable for working inside in every season, it is fully lined, insulated, and double glazed, which comes as standard with our Burnham Studio. For additional practicality, our customer also chose to add electrics to their building, supplying it with power and lighting. The walls and ceiling of this Burnham Studio are lined with Ivory painted matchboard, which has been paired with Shade Oak engineered flooring, providing a pleasing contrast.
