Heavy-duty felt has been used to give the apex roof 12-15 years of waterproof protection, and there are double doors in the front gable to allow large items to easily fit through. There are only four windows in total on the left-hand side of the workshop, which will give the customer plenty of wall space to store their tools and completed projects on shelving units.
The paint used on this shed is our Sikkens paint system, which is a translucent stain that protects the timber and still allows the grain of the wood to shine through, giving a more natural finish. The colour this customer chose is Grey, which fits nicely with their garden.
Internally, we fitted a breathable paper lining on the walls to allow the customer to line and insulate the shed properly themselves when they’re ready to.
To finish the shed off, and to keep the customer’s tools and projects safe inside, they opted for our security pack, which consists of a seven lever lock and heavy-duty sliding bolt, security screws for the doors hinges and stainless steel window bars.
