To allow enough natural light inside to help the customer work effectively and for long periods of time, there are three double window sets in total around the studio, the double doors are half-glazed, and then there are three Velux® windows in the roof as well, which will help to allow light in when her garden is in shadow.
The customer will be able to make full use of her art studio throughout the year, so that she can really progress with her artwork; this is because the Langham comes with full insulation, double glazing, draught excluders in the doors and windows, natural matchboard lining, and an electrical pack, giving her all the comforts of home in a garden room.
To make this studio a stand-out feature in her garden, the customer chose to have cedar shingle tiles on the roof, which start off as this warm, terracotta colour, and because they are a natural material, they season and mature to become a silver/grey colour over the course of about 6 months. To go with these roofing tiles, the paint colour the customer chose is Slate, which is a very popular colour choice from our exterior paint system.
This Langham is going to make a wonderful art studio for our customer, and we hope she finds an abundance of inspiration inside it, and creates many wonderful pieces.
