Built at 2.4m x 4.8m, the new Summerhouse installation allows plenty of space. The external shiplap cladding has been painted in the colour Black from our Exterior Paint range, matching the brick wall that it has been placed next to, looking smart with a slight modern twist. The windows used are in a Georgian style however, keeping the more traditional feel of the summerhouse against the black finish. Our Blakeney Summerhouses are designed in a chalet style, with an apex roof and slight overhang.
The interior has been created with a dual purpose, with two rooms instead of just the one, with the help of a partition. The front 2.4 x 3.0m section is the social end of the building with plenty of light coming in through the doors and windows. The partitioned section at the back of the summerhouse is 2.4 x 1.8m, and has been deliberately created for extra garden storage. This could also be used for a number of other purposes, such as a work or hobby room. An electrical pack has been added to this build for full functionality in both sections of the build.
There is no insulation or lining in the rear partition, but the main summerhouse has been designed for year-round use by the customer, with full insulation, natural matchboard lining, and double glazing, allowing them to enjoy their new outdoor area whenever the occasion occurs.
