Garden Office in Burghfield, Berkshire

One of our Salthouse Studios has been installed in the garden of a customer based in Burghfield, Berkshire for them to use as a garden office. Our customer selected our Salthouse as they liked the building’s contemporary design, which they then customised with a selection of our exterior and interior design options to create a building that was both practical and stylish. All our garden buildings are customisable to the requirements of our customer, so they are designed to order by our CAD engineers before being hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber by skilled craftsmen in our Norfolk factory. We also include delivery and installation in the price of our buildings, so our customer had the peace of mind knowing that their new timber garden office had been assembled by experts from our installations team.

Our contemporary Salthouse Studios are available in over 25 different standard sizes, with the smallest standard size being 1.8 x 2.4m and the largest being 4.8 x 6.0m. As our customer wanted a large garden office, they have opted for a Salthouse measuring 3.0 x 6.0m. Our Salthouse Studio has a sleek overhanging pent roof covered in heavy duty felt and a shiplap clad exterior as standard. Its design includes a fully glazed front elevation, made using floor-to-ceiling glass panels, allowing for plenty of natural light inside. To decorate our Salthouse Studio, we offer our Exterior Paint System as standard, or you can upgrade to one of the specially selected shades we offer from Farrow & Ball’s rich and fully opaque paint system. Our customer opted for the Farrow & Ball colour Card Room Green for their contemporary garden office.

To make it suitable for use throughout the year, our Salthouse Studio comes fully lined, insulated, and double glazed so it can be used comfortably whatever the weather may be outside. Our customer also chose to have electrics to have power and lighting inside their garden office studio. The walls were lined with Ivory painted matchboard to offer a bright and light interior.
