A beautiful Garden Room for a beautiful garden. This Garden Room has been installed for a customer based in Newbury, Berkshire, located close by to our show centre at Hillier Garden Centre Hermitage. Selected to be a relaxing garden retreat from which they could enjoy the views of their lovely garden, our customer chose our Hipped Roof Garden Room as they liked its classic and elegant look. Like all our garden buildings, it was designed by experienced CAD engineers and hand-made to order by skilled craftsmen using FSC® certified timber inside our factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk. The Garden Room was then delivered and installed at our customers address by members of our expert installations team, which is included as part of the overall price of all our buildings.

Our Garden Room is available in a range of standard sizes, with the smallest measuring 3.0m x 3.0m and the largest 5.4 x 6.0m. We are also able to make more tailored sizes on request too. Our customer has opted for the 3.6 x 6.0m, with two double window sets and double doors in the front of the building and additional double window set on either side. The roof on this building is covered in cedar shingles, which are designed to naturally weather to a silvery-grey colour over time, and the windows are leaded in style to offer a traditional look. To further accentuate the timeless design on this building, our customer has opted for a weatherboard clad exterior painted in the Farrow & Ball Paint System colour French Gray. Other features on this building include guttering, inset doors, and corner boards.

To enable the Garden Room to be used year-round, it comes fully lined, insulated, and double glazed as standard, ensuring it is comfortable for use in every season. The internal walls are lined with Farrow & Ball painted matchboard in the colour Slipper Satin and engineered flooring has been laid in the shade Heritage Oak. Our engineered floorboards are laid on top of the existing floorboards, with a layer of underlay in between the two, providing further insulating and sound-absorbing benefits. An electric pack with heater has also been installed to provide the building with power, lighting and heating.
