8 x 9ft Garden Summerhouse Retreat

This attractive 8 x 9ft Holkham Summerhouse was recently chosen to be a small garden retreat which will be further tailored by our customers. Selected from our range of luxury lifestyle buildings, the timber summerhouse takes its name from the civil parish of Holkham, a quaint coastal destination near to Crane HQ. As with all our handcrafted buildings, it was designed and built onsite before being carefully packaged, delivered and installed by the trusted Crane team. All summerhouses are made using FSC© certified Scandinavian redwood timber, which is sustainably sourced from our partnering timber mill in Sweden.

Externally, this classical summerhouse features an apex roof, which is clad with our own heavy-duty, torched-on roofing felt. Measuring a compact 2.4 x 2.7m in size, it features summerhouse double doors and four opening windows with leaded glass, which adds to the traditional appeal. To finish, the building is accessorised with polished brass door furniture and smooth shiplap cladding finished in our Light Oak shade.

Inside, all of our summerhouses are unlined as standard, which is what our customers have opted for here. However, there are many upgrade options which include complete insulation and lining, engineered flooring, heating and electrical packs, interior and exterior lighting and the option to choose from a Farrow & Ball paint palette. As our customers here intend to further personalise it themselves, they may go on to add things like insulation and electrics at a later date, which is a great option if you wish to spread out the cost without waiting to have a beautiful garden building installed.
