8 x 16ft Garden Summerhouses

This 8 x 16ft Cley Summerhouse was recently installed by our expert team of in-house fitters for our customer who was wanting to create a craft room in their garden. Constructed using FSC® certified Scandinavian Redwood, this charming garden summerhouse features a multitude of classic features, executed using the highest quality materials. Like all of our buildings, this wooden summerhouse was constructed by our team of skilled craftsmen from our Norfolk factory, with delivery, installation and VAT all included within our prices.

The exterior of this delightful garden sunhouse features smooth shiplap cladding, a spacious double door and four sets of double glazed, Georgian windows. The elegant, hipped roof, which is a signature design element of our Cley, is covered in Cedar shingles, which perfectly complements our customers patio area and existing green space. Our customer opted to have black guttering installed on their garden summerhouse, in order to aid in water distribution and therefore extend the longevity of this high-quality garden building. This garden sunhouse has been finished with the paint colour Lizard from our four-coat exterior paint system, which alongside adding a contemporary splash of colour, is also protective and weather resistant. Two ambient exterior garden room lights have also been installed on either side of the double doors.

Our Cley summerhouse comes lined and insulated (in the walls and ceiling) as standard, however, our customers chose to add floor insulation, double glazed windows, and an electric pack, to create a craft room that can be used year-round. This Cley was not fitted with a heater, as our customers wished to utilise the wall space in this garden sunhouse for crafting as effectively as possible, however we do offer heater installation for additional temperature control. Our customers also chose to have the internal matchboard lining of their wooden summerhouse painted in the shade Ivory to create a light and inviting feel.
