This 16 x 14ft Superior Shed was recently installed for a customer who wanted a stylish, yet practical garden shed that could be used as both a work and storage space. This customer picked out which design elements and customisable extras they wanted and then our in-house teams at our Narford HQ designed and hand-built this Superior Shed to order before our installations team delivered and assembled the building at our customer’s home.
With our Superior Sheds available in over 30 different sizes, we can tailor-make your building to suit your needs, whether you’re needing a small storage space or a very large workshop, like this 16 x 14ft Superior Shed. With our Superior Shed range, you can choose what style of roof you would like as well as the placement of the doors and windows. Our customer has opted for an apex roof covered in grey slate effect tiles with double doors in the gable and double glazed, Georgian windows on one side. This customer has also opted for a storage partition to be added to their building which has a single additional door.
Our Superior Sheds, like all of our garden buildings, are made from FSC® timber cladding that is machined from high-quality Redwood trees, grown in Northern Sweden. You can opt for our weatherboard cladding which is designed to give your building a more rustic look or our shiplap cladding which will give the exterior of your building a smooth finish like this customer has chosen. We treat each Superior Shed with a Light Oak preservative as standard, but you can also choose to decorate your building with paint from three different paint systems; our exterior paint range, the Farrow & Ball paint system, or a Sikkens wood stain. This customer has opted for a Farrow & Ball colour in the shade Down Pipe.
To add extra protection to their Superior Shed, this customer has added a security pack which includes an anti-sawing, anti-picking, anti-cropping, and anti-prising heavy duty sliding bolt with a fully steel-encased seven lever lock and non-returnable security screws on the door hinges that are impossible to unscrew.
Inside, this customer has added insulation to the walls and the floor and an electric pack to ensure that their shed is a space that they can work in throughout the year. They have also chosen to have heavy-duty flooring, made with 38mm thick floorboards, which are ideal if you’re planning on storing heavy items or machinery inside.
