10 x 20ft Summerhouse with storage partition

This 10 x 20ft summerhouse with storage partition is one of our Blakeney Summerhouses. With both a living space and storage area incorporated into its design with the use of a partition, this large summerhouse has been designed with dual-purpose in mind. It was designed and hand-made to order inside our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed by our experts from our installations team.

The Blakeney has a chalet-inspired design, with an apex roof that has a charming overhang. There are fixed windows situated on either side of the double doors and an opening window placed on both sides of the building. There is also a single door and single fixed window installed in the storage section of this large summerhouse. The roof is covered in heavy-duty felt and has been designed with a lower pitch to bring the overall height of the building under 2.5m to meet permitted development regulations. The exterior is clad in shiplap, giving it a smooth finish, and it is painted in the colour Taupe from our Exterior Paint System.

The Blakeney is an unlined summerhouse as standard, making it the ideal space to unwind with a book during the warmer months of the year. However, our customer wanted to be able to use the larger space throughout the year, so we have added insulation and natural matchboard lining to the walls and ceiling in the living room section of our customer’s building. Our customer also opted to have Heritage Oak engineered flooring laid.  Our customer chose to have electrics and a heater installed for further practicality, providing their summerhouse with storage partition with power, lighting, and warmth.
