10 x 18ft Garden Summerhouse

Built to a 10 x 18ft size (3.0 X 5.4m), this Holkham Summerhouse was installed for one of our customers looking for the perfect outdoor socialising spot. Our summerhouses are fully customisable to the individualised needs of our customers, and the Holkham was the perfect style to adapt to this existing garden. Every one of our garden summerhouses has been hand crafted with FSC® certified timber by our expert craftsmen in Norfolk. For all our garden buildings we include delivery and installation within the price, so you can be assured the entire journey of your garden building will be straightforward and simple.

Our Summerhouses are available in a few varied sizes, but for this customer a 10 x 18ft size was the perfect fit, allowing plenty of space internally whilst enhancing the garden space they already had. With the use of our online summerhouse design tool, the customer was able to fine tune the details of their build, from the quantity of windows, cladding colour, lining, and more. For this build, additional Velux ® windows were added to the roof of the summerhouse, alongside our standard Georgian windows which we offer on our Holkham style. This allows for plenty of natural light inside the summerhouse while permitting ventilation in the warmer summer months. Finished in a cream shiplap cladding, the additional Velux ® windows also gives the summerhouse a more contemporary look.

Inside, the space has been maximised to allow plenty of room for soft furnishings, so the customer’s desire to create a social space is more than achievable. With the use of floor insulation, the build can retain heat all year round, meaning there is never a time when entertaining guests is not an option.
