8 x 10ft Painted Greenhouse

This charming and elegant FSC® certified timber Greenhouse was installed for a customer who is a keen gardener and was in need of a space where they could pot and nurture plants. As with all of our garden buildings, it was designed and hand-made to order onsite at our Norfolk factory before it was delivered and assembled by members of our expert installations team, all of which is included as part of the end-to-end service we offer.

Our Greenhouses have a traditional Victorian-esque design with a strong and durable timber frame and an abundance of glazing made using 4mm toughened safety glass. To honor the Victorians that gave us the inspiration for our design, we call our range of Greenhouses the Victoria. 

 Our Victoria Greenhouses are available in four different sizes, meaning you can choose the size that best suits your garden and your needs. This customer has opted for an 8 x 10ft Greenhouse, which is the second largest size we make, but you could choose either the 6 x 8ft, 6 x 10ft or 10 x 12ft size for your Greenhouse. As our Greenhouses do not come with a floor, they must sit on a level, solid concrete base. 

You also have a choice of two different paint ranges to coat the exterior timber in, Farrow & Ball and our exterior paint system. Our customer opted for our fully opaque, weather-resistant exterior paint system, and they elected for their building to be painted in the shade Lizard, which is a natural green-toned colour that will blend in beautifully with our customer’s garden.

One of the main features of our Victoria Greenhouses are the two vents that are fitted in either side of the roof. They are temperature controlled to automatically open when it gets too warm so that the inside of the building has ventilation and maintains the optimum temperature for growing. You can also choose to have up to two of our slatted oak faced plywood workbenches installed to give you more room to work as well as additional storage space. This customer has chosen to have one workbench installed which has been painted in the same colour as the exterior.
