8 x 13ft Garden Office

We installed this 8 x 13ft garden office for a customer wanting a space to work from home in. Our Salthouse Studio is a great choice for a fully insulated garden office, perfect for anyone looking for a year-round use remote working space. This outdoor garden office was designed and hand-made to order in our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed at our customer’s home. As part of our end-to-end service, we include delivery and installation by our experts in the price of all our buildings.

The Salthouse comes in a wide variety of standard sizes; with the smallest measuring 6 x 8ft and the largest being 16 x 20ft. We are also able to make more tailor-made garden office sizes too on request. Our customer ordered a tailored size to fit in with the space available in the garden, with their Salthouse Studio turned outdoor garden office measuring 8 x 13ft. The Salthouse has a pent roof design, with a fully glazed front elevation made using floor-to-ceiling glass panels. The roof is covered in heavy duty felt and lined by guttering, helping to collect excess rainfall from the roof and deposit it away from the building to protect the timber. Our Salthouse Studio is clad in smooth shiplap and comes painted in your choice of colour from our Exterior Paint System. We also offer the option of upgrading your paint system to Farrow & Ball, which is what our customer opted to do and chose Down Pipe as the exterior paint colour for their outdoor garden office.

This fully insulated garden office is also fully lined and double glazed as standard too, ensuring comfortable working conditions all throughout the year. To cater our Salthouse to our individual customers’ needs, we offer a range of additional extras for you to choose from. Our customer opted for a heavy duty floor, supporting the weight of particularly heavy furniture items, and an electric pack with heater, supplying this outdoor garden office with lighting, power, and additional warmth. Our customer upgraded the standard natural matchboard lining on the walls of their Salthouse Studio to painted matchboard in the Farrow & Ball shade Slipper Satin, and they also chose to have the ceiling of their fully insulated garden office painted in Farrow & Ball Pointing. Engineered Flooring in Heritage Oak was also laid as extra.
