12 x 12ft Garden Office

This 12 x 12ft Garden Office is one of our Salthouse Studios, installed for a customer who wanted a year-round use garden building that would enable them to work from home. It was designed to our customer’s specification by our in-house CAD engineers before it was then hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber inside our Norfolk factory. Once our skilled craftsmen had finished building the studio to order, members of our installations team delivered and installed the building at our customer’s address.

Our customer opted for one of our 3.6 x 3.6m Salthouse Studios for their outdoor office building. It has a pent roof with a slight overhang, covered in heavy-duty felt, and shiplap cladding that our customer chose to have painted in the colour Slate from our Exterior Paint System. Our Salthouse Studio comes with a fully glazed front elevation as standard, however, our customer has tweaked our standard design slightly to better suit their needs. They have opted to have four floor-to-ceiling glass panels to the front of their building, with the double doors moved to the side of the building for easier access, and two fanlight windows installed in the back wall to aid with internal ventilation.

This Salthouse Studio turned garden office comes fully lined, insulated, and double glazed so that our customer can work from home comfortably inside all throughout the year. This modern garden office is lined with Ivory painted matchboard and a light oak lacquer has been applied to the floor. Our customer also chose to have electrics installed, supplying the building with power and lighting that will allow our customer to work more effectively.
