8 x 12ft Garden Studio with Pent Roof

This 8 x 12ft Garden Studio was recently installed as an extended living space for our customer. They opted for our Salthouse Studio as they wanted a building that allowed plenty of natural light inside. Once our customer had chosen what style of building they wanted, our in-house designers drew the manufacturing plans to incorporate the extras that our customer had chosen before our skilled craftsmen and women inside our Norfolk factory hand-built it to order. It was then delivered and assembled at the address of our customer by members from our expert installations team.

Our Salthouse Studios are available in more than 25 different sizes, with this one measuring 8 x 12ft. It has been designed with an overhanging pent roof which comes covered in heavy duty roofing felt as standard and shiplap cladding that has been painted in the shade Slate from our range of exterior paint colours. One of the main features of our Salthouse Studios are the floor-to-ceiling fully glazed window panels that cover the front elevation and the additional glass panels on each side, which allow for maximum light and a contemporary feel inside. Our Salthouses also feature at least one fanlight window for ventilation purposes that are fitted with draught excluders.

To ensure this studio is comfortable for use all throughout the year, it is fully lined and insulated in the walls, floor and ceiling. The walls are lined with our Ivory painted matchboard and the floor has been treated with a natural lacquer which is designed to protect the timber as well as give the floorboards a natural sheen.
