8 x 10ft Outdoor Office Studio

This 8 x 10ft outdoor office studio is one of our Salthouse Studios, installed in the garden of a customer needing a permanent home working solution. The manufacturing plans for this customer’s garden building were designed to order by our CAD engineers before being passed over to the skilled craftsmen in our Norfolk factory who were able to use the plans to hand-craft the Salthouse using FSC® certified timber. Delivery and installation of this building by our expert installers are included in the overall price as part of the end-to-end service we offer our customers.

Our Salthouse Studios are available in more than 25 standard sizes, the smallest size is 6 x 8ft and the largest is 16 x 20ft with many more different sizes in between. This customer’s outdoor office studio measures 8 x 10ft, but we are able to make more tailored sizes on request also. This garden pod has a modern design with a pent roof covered in heavy duty felt and shiplap cladding offering a smooth exterior finish, which, on this particular studio, has been painted in the green-toned colour of Sage from our Exterior Paint System. One of the defining features of our Salthouse Studio is the fully glazed front elevation. These floor-to-ceiling glass panels allow plenty of natural light to flood the inside of the building.  

It was important to our customer that they had an insulated garden studio as they wanted a building that was suitable for year-round use as an office, so they opted for our Salthouse Studio as it comes lined, insulated, and double glazed as standard. The walls on the studio have been lined with natural matchboard and our standard floorboards have been laid on the floor. Our customer has also chosen to have our electric pack installed to ensure the building is supplied with power and lighting, which are essential for working from home.
