10 x 14ft Garden Studio

This 10 x 14ft Garden Studio is one of our Langham Studios, installed for our customer to use as an art room. Our customer selected the Langham as their new hobby room from our range of FSC® certified garden buildings, and It has been tailor-made to order with all the exterior and interior design options they wanted. All our garden buildings are designed by our in-house CAD team, before being hand-crafted by skilled craftsmen inside our factory at our head office in Norfolk. The garden studio was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by members of our installations team, who are the experts at assembling our buildings.

Our Langham Studio is available in a variety of standard and non-standard sizes, with the smallest standard size we make measuring 1.8 x 2.4m and the largest one being 4.8 x 6.0m in size. Our customer opted to have their new art studio made to measure 3.0 x 4.2m. The Langham has an apex roof with desk-height windows included as part of its design. We have lowered the roof pitch on this design to bring it in line with permitted development regulations, and there is a single window placed either side of the double doors in the side of the garden studio and an additional triple window set in the gable. It has a rustic look with weatherboard cladding, cedar shingle roof tiles and Georgian windows. To complete the look, the exterior has been painted in a two-tone fashion, with Farrow & Ball Light Gray as the main colour, and Pointing used to highlight the doors and window frames.

To enable our Langham Studio to be used as an art room throughout the year, it comes fully lined, insulated, and double glazed as standard, ensuring it stays comfortable inside whatever the weather may be outside. Our customer also chose to add electrics to their hobby room to supply it with power and lighting. The walls of our Langham Studio come lined with natural pine lining, but if you prefer to add some colour for a more homely feel, you can upgrade to our Ivory painted matchboarding, just like this customer did, or you can opt for a shade from a range of internal Farrow & Ball colours.
