Contemporary Garden Office

One of our Holt Studios has been installed in the garden of the show home at Bellway Homes Heatherley Wood development. It has been set up as a contemporary garden office to offer inspiration for what can be achieved with an outdoor office space.

The team at Bellway wanted a building that reflected the modern design of the homes they offer, which is why the Holt is the perfect fit. This contemporary garden office has a pent roof and a small decked veranda that are connected by two exterior walls to nicely frame the building. Two walls of glazing are included as part of its design so you can have unhindered views of your garden while you work from home. It is also ideal if you are after a garden office room that will allow plenty of natural light inside.

With full insulation, lining and double glazing included as standard features, the Holt offers comfortable conditions for home working throughout every season. To ensure the modern garden office was fully equipped for working from home, the Bellway team chose to have electrics and a heater installed as extra, supplying it with power, lighting, and warmth.

As all of our home office garden buildings are hand-made to order, you are able to choose which of our interior and exterior designs options you would like in order to tailor the design to your needs and personal taste. The exterior of this contemporary garden office is painted using our Exterior Paint System in Slate, which contrasts nicely with the Ivory painted matchboard lining the walls and ceiling inside the Holt. Shade Oak engineered flooring has also been fitted, which will not only add style to your building but provide further insulating and sound-absorbing benefits.

The overall size of the Holt chosen by Bellway is 3.0 x 3.6m. Taking into account the 0.6m veranda to the front and side, this garden office room offers 2.4 x 3.0m of space internally. This amount of space has allowed for a desk and chair to the left-hand side of the building and a chair to the right. The beauty of a tailor-made garden office studio is that you can decorate the interior to suit you.
