Whether you’re after the ideal home office, in need of an extended living area, or you would like an idyllic retreat from which you can enjoy your garden (or all of the above!), our Garden Rooms are designed to provide an outdoor space that can be enjoyed all year round.
There are many features that come as standard across the whole Garden Room range, such as full insulation, internal lining, double glazing, and even electrics, but with three designs to choose from, you may want some help to decide which one of our Garden Rooms would best suit you and your requirements.
Signature Garden Room
Our Signature Garden Room is our most traditional style of Garden Room, as well as being the original design within the range. The most distinctive design feature is its hipped roof, which helps to give the building a more classic look and offers plenty of internal height for a lofty feel.
This style of building is perfect for use as a grand countryside retreat, where you can unwind inside and gaze out of the windows to the beautiful vistas that your garden provides, whatever the weather may be doing outside.
As with all of our garden buildings, our Signature Garden Room is hand-made to order at our Norfolk factory, so it can be tailored to have inset doors, corner boards, or even a second paint colour to highlight the doors and windows, which will add to the overall elegance of the building.
Pavilion Garden Room
Our Pavilion Garden Room is best suited to someone who wishes to have the best of both indoor and outdoor worlds.
The Pavilion has been designed with a spacious veranda (1.2 or 1.8m deep depending on the size) so it is ideal if you’re looking for somewhere you can sit and enjoy the weather on warmer days, while remaining under cover from the sun. The lined and fully insulated interior provides a fantastic area to socialise with friends and family as you can add a large comfortable sofa to relax on, and a table and chairs to turn it in into a charming alfresco dining spot.
Our Pavilion Garden Room is also a great building for sporting people: some of our previous customers have transformed their buildings to use as pool houses to dry off or unwind after swimming, tennis rooms to offer shade and a place to cool down between sets, and even cricket pavilions where members can relax and watch the matches in comfort.
Apex Garden Room
The design of our Apex Garden Room is very similar to our Pavilion Garden Room, except it has no veranda.
As this style of Garden Room has an apex roof, we can lower the roof pitch to restrict the overall height of the building to 2.5m. This will help your building comply with permitted development rights so that it is unlikely that you’ll need planning permission for installation. Depending on where you are placing your building, and whether your property is a listed building, this may not always be the case though, so we would recommend using our planning permission calculator to see whether or not you will need to look into this before we install your garden building.
If you want a garden building that is versatile and fully equipped for use throughout the year, our Garden Rooms are perfect. With a wide variety of sizes (up to 30m2 internal size), the inside of these buildings can be very spacious, and set up in a multitude of ways to fulfil your needs: have a separate area to work from home, a cosy nook to sit and snuggle up with loved ones, and an entertainment space to enjoy dinner and drinks with friends, all under one roof.
