Marketing Data & Performance Analyst
The Role:
This role is responsible for managing and developing Crane Garden Buildings data analytics and insight. You will use the extensive data pool available to generate reporting, insights and actionable recommendations based on your continuous findings. The aim is to use data analytics to grow leads and sales for Crane across all product lines.
The role requires a hands-on team approach whilst also operating at a strategic level for the long-term development of the website and brand, working closely with the Head of Marketing and other members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, collate and interpret performance reports, continually improving depth of insight and intelligence to grow the business.
- Manage the Crane PPC account, undertaking daily budget and performance decisions based on keywords, ad copy and campaigns across Google and Meta (Bing and Programmatic)
- Responsible for reviewing marketing channel and sales conversion performance by customer type, product, seasonality, lead and cost dynamics adjusting as appropriate to meet targets and maximise ROI.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates for the marketing team and senior stakeholders and ad hoc reporting or insights as and when required.
- Monitor the marketing budget to ensure all expenditure is accounted for and within budget parameters, working alongside the Finance team.
- Support the marketing performance forecasting process by preparing data based on historic performance and future ambitions. Recommends targets to be set for the PPC channel and support the formulation of SEO and paid social targets.
- Find correlations, trends and insights based on a wide range of data sources using the in-house Crane system called Athena, Google Analytics and other digital tools (e.g. Screaming Frog, SE Ranking).
- Report on aspects of on-site performance e.g. clicks, customer journeys, touchpoints, calls to action, use of mobile vs. desktop, search engine usage, page impressions, conversion rates, A/B testing, CRO improvements etc., working alongside the web development agency.
- Support the marketing team, responding to ad hoc data queries across the marketing remit.
