Cley Summerhouse with Cedar Roof

This attractive and elegant Cley Summerhouse was recently installed for a customer based in Hassocks, West Sussex. Designed and built by hand to order at our Norfolk factory, the Summerhouse measures 3.0 x 3.6m and makes the ideal recreational retreat. As with all of our FSC® certified timber buildings, it was delivered and installed by our expert, in-house installations team.

The building has a distinctive hipped roof covered with cedar shingles and stunning Georgian windows that open in the gable of the building to allow for ventilation and natural light. There are double access doors that open in the centre of side of the building, which also feature Georgian windows.

Internally, the building is insulated and lined with painted pine lining in the airy shade of Ivory, with a lacquered floor and polished brass door furniture for a classical look. The exterior of the building is clad with smooth shiplap and painted in the stunning shade of Sage, which was chosen by our customer from the vast range of exterior paints available.
