Blakeney Summerhouse with Lining & Insulation

A small summerhouse with chalet-style look and double doors, opening window and apex roof with overhang. It is clad with shiplap timber and painted in the exterior shade of Lizard.

An attractive garden building, painted in an opaque green paint to allow it to blend in with its surroundings, this 3.0 x 3.0m Blakeney Summerhouse has been installed in our customer’s garden in Croydon, Surrey to use as a relaxing reading room.

The customer wants to use their summerhouse come rain or shine, so they opted to have natural matchboard lining internally, as well as insulation in the walls and ceiling, which will help to keep the summerhouse at a comfortable temperature.

The roof overhang and fully glazed double doors on the Blakeney gives a beach-hut feel to the that the customer really likes.

Heavy duty felt has been used on the roof, which is propane torched on to increase its longevity, and the green opaque paint is our exterior paint system colour, Sage.

The windows on the sides of the Blakeney have got top-hung openers on them to allow fresh air inside, and there are also door hooks fixed to the front gable, allowing the customer to keep the doors open on really hot days.
