Superior Shed is Sikkens Walnut Stain

This shed’s most striking feature is the paint on it: it has been painted in our Sikkens paint system, in the colour, Walnut. Sikkens is a translucent stain that gives a more natural finish than an opaque paint, because the grain of the wood can still be seen through it, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood.

The height of this shed has been restricted to 2.5m, which we can easily do by lowering the pitch of the roof. Some customers ask us to do this, especially if their building is being installed close to the garden boundary, so they don’t have to apply for Planning Permission.

Heavy-duty felt has been used to protect the roof, and there is black guttering on the left-hand side to protect the windows from too much rainfall.

Internally, the customer asked for a workbench to be fitted along the back wall, which he can use as a sturdy platform to work on when he needs to.
