Summerhouses in Thurston, Suffolk

Our Wiveton Summerhouse is an octagonal den that is available in 4 different sizes, with the largest measuring 3.6 x 3.6m and the smallest 1.8 x 2.5m, which is the size our customer has opted for. It has windows in four out of its eight sides, as well as in the double doors, which will flood the interior with plenty of natural light while also providing our customer with the opportunity to view their garden from a multitude of different angles while relaxing inside. You can choose which window style and roof covering you would like on our Wiveton Summerhouse to customise it to your taste. Our customer opted to have cedar shingles on the roof, which will weather naturally to a lovely silvery/grey colour over time, and they also chose leaded windows to give their summerhouse a charming traditional look. The exterior is clad with smooth shiplap, which is the standard cladding option with this building, and painted in our customer’s choice of colour from our Exterior Paint System. Our customer opted to have the exterior of their new summerhouse painted in Verdigris, which is a lovely blue-green colour that will complement any garden setting.

Internally, the Wiveton benefits from having the walls and ceiling lined and insulated, meaning it can be comfortably used throughout the year. For additional comfort, our customer has opted to add floor insulation too. The walls of this luxury summerhouse are lined with Ivory-painted matchboard, which gives this summerhouse a homely feel inside. The floor is covered with our standard floorboards, but you can choose to have a lacquered floor or engineered flooring for an alternative look.
