The features of this shed include a single door, smooth shiplap cladding, Georgian windows, and a pent roof. The customer chose to have the pent roof sloping towards the front of the shed since it is fairly close to the fence behind it. They chose to have black guttering fitted to the front to catch any excess water run-off from the roof, and therefore increasing the longevity of the building. This will also stop water from dripping onto the customer as they walk in and out of the building.
The roof has been covered in our heavy duty felt. This is the standard roof covering with our Superior Sheds, but it is heat-bonded onto the roof which makes it extremely durable.
There are two Georgian windows in the shed, one fixed window at the front next to the door, and another in the left gable. The window in the left gable can be opened, so the customer can get some fresh air to the inside of their potting shed.
The paint colour the customer chose for the outside of their shed is Slate, a bold modern colour from our Exterior paint range. Inside, the shed is unlined as they only need to use their shed during the spring and summer months of the year, but they did choose to have a workbench in the left gable, under the opening window. This means that when the customer is inside their shed, they will have a lovely view of their garden.
Our workbenches are made from oak-faced plywood for a solid, sturdy finish.
This is a fairly simple design, but our Superior Shed range is fully customisable, which means there are dozens of sizes you can choose from, you can have your shed lined and insulated if you wish, you can have double glazing, electrics, partitions, whatever you need to make a building that will match your needs. You can have an apex roof for a more traditional look and have a security pack fitted to give you peace of mind that your belongings will be safe inside.
