Partitioned Storage Shed in Oakamoor, Staffordshire

The shed is split into two sections, a 2.4 x 2.4m section to the right with a single door, three windows, and a workbench. This is the garden storage section that the customer will also be able to use as a potting shed with the workbench. Our workbenches are made from oak faced plywood for a sturdy, solid finish: they are 900mm tall and 600mm deep. In the right-hand gable, there are two windows, one of which can be opened to allow for ventilation during warmer days. The workbench also sits underneath these windows, meaning the customer will have a nice view of the woodlands at the back of their garden when inside their shed.

The second section on the left is 2.4 x 1.8m in size, and this section will be used to store animal feed and equipment for the chickens they keep. Internally, the whole building is unlined.

The sloping pent roof on this shed is covered in our heavy duty felt, which is heat-bonded onto the roof to increase its longevity. Other external features include shiplap cladding which gives a smooth finish to the exterior timber, and the shed has been painted in the colour Grey from our Sikkens exterior stain treatment. Sikkens helps to protect the timber, while allowing the natural grain of the timber to still be visible, and therefore enhancing the natural beauty of the wood.
