Burnham Studio with a Height Restriction

This 2.4 x 4.2m Burnham Studio has been installed in our customer’s garden in Liverpool, Merseyside, with both a year-round usage studio section, and a storage section, for the customer to use as an art studio, as well as a place to store her equipment.

In order for the customer to adhere to Planning Permission regulations, they requested that we lower the roof pitch to make the building fall below 2.5m.

The height restricted roof has been covered in cedar shingle tiles to add a natural feel to the building, and the paint colour the customer chose is Lizard, which is from our exterior paint system.

Inside the studio section, there is full insulation, double glazing, painted matchboard lining, and draught excluders in the doors and windows.

Polished chrome door and window furniture finish the building off, giving a modern feel that the customer really liked.

A beautiful asset to any garden, the Burnham Studio brings together the modern light benefits of fully glazed walls with a more traditional pitched roof to create extra height.
