3.0 x 4.8m Superior Shed painted in Exterior Slate

This large garden shed has been installed for a customer based in Mitcham, London. Our customer wanted a large building for storage purposes, but as it would be visible from their house, they also wanted it to look aesthetically pleasing. Taking the customer’s needs in mind, our sales advisor suggested one of our Superior Sheds. As all of our buildings are designed and hand-made to order, we are able to tailor them to meet our customers’ size and style requirements. Like all of our buildings, this Superior Shed was hand-crafted by skilled craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by members of our experienced installations team, which is included in the overall price of our buildings.

This Superior measures 3.0 x 4.8m with an apex roof design. Our Superior Sheds are available in many different sizes, from the very small to the very large, and they can also be designed with a pent roof if that is the style that you prefer. This particular Superior Shed also has a partition as part of its design, creating two separate sections inside, with one part used for storage and the other used as a workshop. There is a single framed, ledged, and braced door in the side of the building to access the storage section of the shed and a single door with a window in the front gable. To the right of the door in the gable, there is a double window set and there are also an additional two windows in the side of the building.

To give the Shed the attractive look our customer was after, they opted to have grey slate effect tiles laid on the roof and for the windows to be Georgian in style. They also chose to have a shiplap clad exterior, giving a smooth finish, painted in the Exterior Paint System colour of Slate. To further protect the belongings our customer is storing inside, one of our security packs has been installed. Our security pack compromises of a heavy duty, fully steel encased 7 lever lock that is anti-sawing, anti-picking, anti-cropping and anti-prising, impossible to unscrew security screws on the door hinges, and stainless steel bars mortised into the window frames. All of these items are included in the cost of the security pack; however, our customer has chosen not to have the steels bars on their windows.
