Superior Shed in Islington

This Superior Shed has been installed at a school in Islington, London. The groundsman at this school needed a superior shed suitable enough to fit his working equipment in. The amount of equipment and tools he used on the school grounds had increased and they needed more storage space.

As with all of our garden buildings, this Superior Shed was built inside our Norfolk factory at our HQ in Narford, near Swaffham, using slow-growing FSC® certified timber sourced from our partner sawmill in Northern Sweden. It was then delivered and assembled at the school by our trusted installations team, who are the experts in ensuring our buildings are installed to the high standards we pride ourselves on.

Our customer opted for an Apex roof design with a large double door in the front gable and six windows in the side. The roof is lined with our standard heavy duty roofing felt and the windows are made using 4mm toughened safety glass.

This Garden Shed was constructed using shiplap cladding, which gave the exterior a smooth finish, coated in a Green Sikkens Wood Stain, which has a high colour pay off while still allowing the grain of the wood to be seen through the stain.
