Burnham Studio with Heavy Duty Floor

This charming 2.4 x 3.6m Burnham Studio, located in our customer’s lovely garden in Leicester, has been modified slightly to have four of the six windows made at half-length instead of full-length like the two on both sides of the doors.

Externally, this building has an apex roof, which has been finished in our grey slate composite tiles. The paint on the studio is from our exterior paint system in the colour Lizard, and the door furniture is polished chrome to give it an elegant touch. There are double doors with two windows on both sides of the doors on the front side of the building. There is also one more window (one of the half-length windows) on both gable ends of the studio.

Having these half-length windows adds a little bit of privacy to the studio, so if the customer wants to use it as an office, they will still be able to peer out of the windows, while their desk will be mainly concealed. The full-length glass in the doors and the two windows around the doors allows the customer to still have an unspoiled view of their garden.

For the interior, the studio consists of heavy-duty flooring, natural matchboard lining and an electrical pack which is fully insulated, with the addition of draught excluders in the doors and windows. On the back wall, there are also two fanlight windows that can be opened for a steady flow of fresh air.
