Model Rail Workshop in West Malling

Fully Lined and Insulated Superior Shed

This large 2.4 x 5.4m Superior Shed has been delivered and installed in our customer’s garden in West Malling, Kent as part of our package, to use as a comfortable place to keep and work on their model railway layout, now that they have more time on their hands in their retirement.

To help ensure the appropriate atmosphere inside for a model layout to live all through the year, the customer chose to have full insulation, oak faced ply lining, double glazed windows, and an electric pack.

Cedar shingle tiles have been used on the roof for a natural touch, and the rustic weatherboard cladding helps this along too. Guttering and a downpipe will help to steer excess rainfall from pouring down the walls, and the paint colour, Ash from our exterior paint system, will help the shed to blend in with the surrounding fence.

We also provided a security pack which finishes off the shed with a secure system. Our packs add three essential elements to the buildings and allow our customers piece of mind. Consisting of a seven lever lock and heavy duty sliding bolt, security locks for the door hinges, and stainless steel window bars, they act as the ultimate deterrent and protection against any unwanted visitors.
