Garden Offices in Sevenoaks, Kent

This Salthouse Studio has been installed in Sevenoaks, Kent for a customer wanting a garden office that would be suitable for working from home throughout the year. They chose our Salthouse Studio for our wide range of garden office designs as they wanted a modern garden office. Our customer worked with sales advisors to choose what exterior and interior design options they wanted for their outdoor office studio to allow the manufacturing plans to be created to order by our CAD engineers. The skilled craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory then followed those plans to hand-make our customer’s Salthouse Studio from FSC® certified timber before it was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our expert installations team. The delivery and installation of this building were included in the overall price, which is something we include with all our buildings as part of our end-to-end service.

Our Salthouse Studio can be made in over 25 different sizes, so you can choose which one would be the perfect fit for the space you have available in your garden. Our customer chose our 3.0 x 4.2m size, providing them with enough space to create the desired look for their outdoor office studio. Our Salthouse has a distinctive pent roof design, with a fully glazed front elevation that will allow for plenty of natural light to flood the inside of the building. Our Salthouse Studio also comes with at least one fanlight window installed. They are usually installed in the back wall of the building, but our customer has opted to have them fitted on either side. The roof of this Salthouse is covered in heavy-duty felt and lined with guttering. To finish, the shiplap clad exterior is painted in Farrow & Ball Off-Black.

To make the Salthouse Studio suitable for use as a year-round outdoor office studio, it comes fully lined, insulated, and double glazed. For further functionality, our customer chose to add electrics and a heater too, supplying the Salthouse with power, lighting, and heating. To give it a cosy, homely feel inside, our customer has chosen to have Farrow & Ball painted lining on the walls and ceiling. The colour selected by our customer is Pointing, which is a warm and delicate white colour.
