Inside the summerhouse, the customer has opted for natural matchboard lining on the walls, insulation in the walls and ceiling and an electrical pack. The insulation will help to keep the inside of the summerhouse cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter (if they want to use it all year round), and the lining is ex 19mm vertical tongue and groove matchboarding.
Red slate composite tiles have been used on the roof of this Wiveton to give it 50+ years of protection against wind, rain, hail, fire and UV rays, and the red of these tiles has been paired with a paint colour from our Valtti colour range for the body of the building. The colour the customer chose is Sage, a natural green colour that gives an opaque finish to the timber.
Leaded glass has been used in the windows and doors, and all eight windows can be opened to get a breeze flowing through the summerhouse on hot days.
