2.4 x 3.6m Superior Shed painted in Farrow & Ball French Gray with Georgian Windows and Cedar Shingles

We have delivered and installed one of our garden sheds in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire for a customer wanting a dual-purpose storage shed and potting shed. Our customer opted for one of our Superior Sheds as they liked how the design could be fully customised to their requirements. Like all of our timber garden sheds, the manufacturing plans were created by our CAD engineers, ready for the skilled craftsmen in the factory at our Norfolk HQ to hand-craft the shed to order using FSC® certified timber. It was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by one of our installation teams, which we include in the price of all our garden sheds.

With a wide range of sizes for you to choose from, our Superior Sheds can be made as small or as large as you require. They can have either an apex or pent roof design, and you can also choose the placement of your doors and windows to ensure the design is tailored to your specific requirements. Our customer opted for an apex shed measuring 2.4 x 3.6m. It has a double window set and a single door to the front, an additional triple window set in the side, and an additional single door in the back. To give them a separate potting shed and storage shed, our customer has opted to have a partition installed, with each room accessed by a different external door. The apex roof of this timber garden shed is covered in cedar shingles and guttering has also been fitted. The windows are made from toughened safety glass and are Georgian in style. The triple window set contains one opening window to aid with internal airflow. The exterior is clad with shiplap, giving it a smooth surface finish, which has been painted in Farrow & Ball French Gray. Our Superior Sheds are treated with a Light Oak preservative as standard, so the Farrow & Ball paint chosen is one of the upgraded options selected by our customer.

Inside, both sections of our customer’s Superior Shed are unlined, which is the standard option. However, if you required a year-round use space, we are able to add full insulation and lining to this timber garden shed. One of the sections has two workbenches installed inside in an ‘L-shape’. Our workbenches are made using oak faced plywood, providing you with a solid and sturdy space to pot plants, tinker with tools, and do some DIY.
