The exterior shiplap was coated in Sikkens paint - a translucent paint which allows the natural grain of the wood to show through, whilst providing long lasting protection. An optional security pack was also installed, featuring an anti-pick lock, anti-tamper screws and hinges, and stainless steel window bars were included at the time of build for additional safety. We'd recommend a form of high-quality security for any shed containing valuables such as bikes or lawn mowers and expensive gardening tools.
Our sheds, as well as all our other garden building ranges, are built using Scots Pine timber from Scandinavia. We partnered with this particular timber mill due to the quality of their pine and the fact that operations are managed in a sustainable way.
