This Lavenham is 2.4 x 3.0m in size, which is the largest size Lavenham we make. It has a corrugated material on the roof, and other features include leaded glass in the windows and doors, cast iron door furniture in a Fleur-de-Leys style, and vertical sawn boards. All of these features equate to a very traditional looking summerhouse, which is exactly what the National Trust wanted with this range of garden buildings.
The colour of this summerhouse is Terrace Green; this is the darkest green out of the six different colours you can choose from in this range. The six colours available are from the National Trust colour range, and all of them reflect the colours of nature to ensure a very natural looking garden building.
There is no insulation in the National Trust buildings, so they are perfectly suited to just summer use. There are four summerhouses in total in the National Trust range, as well as four Garden Sheds.
