Once furnished with a couple of comfortable chairs and a little table, the customer will be well on their way to being able to take a bit of extra enjoyment out of their garden, in a comfortable, sheltered setting.
The Flatford has a pent roof with an overhang over the front side, offering some shaded protection against wind and rain for the doors and windows. Double doors with hooks to keep them open will create a more open space inside, and the glass for the doors and windows is leaded in style for a classic traditional feel.
Other traditional elements to the design include cast iron door and window furniture in the Fleur-de-Leys style, vertical sawn boards for the external cladding, and the roof is protected by a corrugated material.
Disraeli Green is the paint colour the customer chose from our National Trust paint range, which is a natural pale green colour that blends in well with their garden.
Internally, the National Trust range is not lined in order to offer customers a more traditional summerhouse, one that is used in the summer months.
If you would like a lined and insulated summerhouse, please peruse our range of Summerhouses, Garden Studios and Garden Rooms to see what we can do with different designs and features.
