The Lavenham, at 8 x 10 in size, has been installed on a concrete base that extends the size of the summerhouse, allowing a bit of a patio area in front of the building. Traditional external features include black corrugated roofing material, black cast iron door and window furniture in the Fleur-de-leys style, and the vertical sawn boards which have been painted in our Disraeli Green – one of 6 exclusive colours to the National Trust range.
This building is part of the National Trust range that have been designed with the outbuildings from National Trust properties across East Anglia in mind. An outbuilding at Lavenham Guildhall, in the heart of Suffolk, provided the inspiration for our Lavenham Summerhouse, which features an apex roof and cross-leaded windows.
