The roof is a single pitch pent roof, sloping towards the front where the customer has opted for black guttering to keep excess rainfall off the door and windows. Heavy duty felt has been used to protect the roof, which has been heat bonded onto the roof to make sure it’s waterproof.
In the front side, there is a single door and a set of two double glazed windows, and there is another window (also double glazed) on the left gable end.
In terms of paint, the customer wanted to add a bit of colour, but also to keep the timber looking fairly natural, so they opted for our Sikkens paint system in Rosewood. Sikkens is a translucent stain, so you can still see the grain of the wood underneath it.
Inside the shed, the customer chose to have full insulation and oak faced ply lining. So, along with the double glazed windows, this potting shed should stay warm enough to work in for most of the year through.
