National Trust Ickworth Summerhouse - Chester

This model is one of our National Trust range and is one of our standard-build buildings, which offers four set sizes (2.4 x 1.8m, 2.4 x 2.4m, 3.0 x 1.8m and 3.0 x 2.4m) and six colour choices (Painters Grey, Disraeli Green, Earls Grey, Dome Ochre, Terrace Green and Wades Lantern) from the National Trust colour palette so that you can decorate the exterior to suit your individual taste.

This particular summerhouse measures 8' x 6' (2.4 x 1.8m) and was finished in our distinctive Disraeli Green paint, an earthy green-tone colour, which offers exceptional durability and protection against the elements. The contrasting black corrugated roof offers a more traditional feel to the summerhouse and keeps redecoration and ongoing maintenance to a minimum.

To add to the rustic feel of the summerhouse, it was been clad with vertically-sawn timber boards. It also has cast iron Fleur-de-Leys hinges and door furniture with a mortice lock, and cross leaded windows made with toughened glass, which add to the building's traditional charm.

We have eight showsites across the UK, located in Narford, Norfolk, Burford, Oxfordshire, Edwalton, Nottinghamshire, Newbury in Berkshire, Lewes in Sussex, Trentham in Staffordshire, and Sunningdale & Cranleigh in Surrey, where we have around 25 garden buildings at each centre for you to experience first hand.
